A Spiritual Revolution Day Course
June 10 / 10am-4pm
with visiting teacher Kelsang Lhadron,
Resident Teacher of KMC New Mexico
We normally think that it is external conditions that determine whether we are happy or upset. However, it is actually our mind that determines whether we are miserable or at peace.
In this day course we will learn transformative meditations that guide us to the expansive and beautiful states of mind of bodhichitta. They are scientific methods for improving our good qualities. As we improve ourself, naturally our relationships with others will improve and our experience of the world becomes less stressful and irritating.
"We need to have this precious mind of bodhichitta in our heart. It is our inner Spiritual Guide, who leads us directly to the state of supreme happiness of enlightenment; and it is the real wishfulfilling jewel through which we can fulfil our own and others' wishes. There is not greater beneficial intention than this precious mind." If we understand the good qualities of bodhichitta, the thought will arise, "How wonderful it would be to give birth to such a precious mind." Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
