Friday, January 6 through
Sunday, January 8, 2023

In person with Gen Lingpur

During this meditation retreat we will learn how to develop a powerful daily meditation practice – one that gives us mental clarity, confidence, and direction in our life. Meditation transforms our mind into a positive state and improves the quality of our life on many levels – including our relationships, our health, our happiness, and our state of mind.

In particular we will be focusing on “Lamrim” meditation. Lamrim, or the stages of the path to Enlightenment, is a series of heartfelt meditations taught by Buddha that awaken our loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom, and enable us to reach our highest spiritual goals. These ancient meditations are steeped in Buddhist wisdom and are perfectly suited to modern life – helping us to build a foundation of inner peace within our busy & often stressful lives. Through gaining a special experience of Lamrim we can learn to control our mind, develop a good heart, find meaning in our life, and realize our highest spiritual potential.

Meditation subjects covered on this retreat will include karma, life after death, impermanence, love, compassion and Buddhist wisdom. This retreat is perfect for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of Buddhist philosophy, the Buddhist way of life, and how to develop a powerful daily meditation practice.
