New Years

Happy New Year! Now that we are all ready for a big dose of peace of mind and have made our resolutions for the coming year to make greater progress on our spiritual path, here's a look at what's coming up at Tara Center.

Tara

Bring in the New Year in a special way with 24-hour Tara chanting by candlelight. Every four hours, we will chant homages to our Blessed Mother, Arya Tara, requesting her protection for the coming year. You can attend any number of sessions and are welcome to sleep at the Center. Sessions Dec. 31 - Noon, 5 pm, 8 pm. Jan. 1 - Midnight, 4 am, 8 am

Two special class series are available this term: Living Meaningfully/Dying Joyfully - A Buddhist Perspective on Death; and Mahamudra Tantra - The Way of Great Bliss. Classes Thursdays at Tara Center in Central Tucson, as well as in Northwest Tucson on Wednesdays and Green Valley on Mondays.
