Kadampa Meditation Center-New Mexico will host the seventh annual Southwest Dharma Celebration in Albuquerque. Inspired by Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, renowned Buddhist Master and founder of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU), this Celebration is a wonderful opportunity for people throughout the region to gather together.
Gen Jampa, the National Spiritual Director will grant the empowerment of Medicine Buddha.
It is Ven. Geshe-la’s wish that through the International Temples Project (ITP) he has established, Kadampa Temples dedicated to inner and outer peace will appear to help people in every major city in the world. Because the ITP is funded in part by donations and proceeds from Dharma Celebrations like this one, we become part of this compassionate vision just by attending.
